For all intents and purposes, Ol' Hub has mellowed with age.  But I ain't dead........yet.  I still like Big Motors and Loud Pipes, Big Handguns, and fast Pick-up Trucks.  Still like to look at pretty women.........that's all I can do now..........look!  All the new-age punk stuff........not so much.  But my life today is still better than the alternative!  Later--HUBBARD

Same here!,... I'm in no hurry to get there before I leave as an older git and riding in London my V&H pipes are loud and have saved me more then once. I know that drivers pay no attention to a horn as they snooze behind the wheel BUT the pipes wake them up.

Past 60 and hate stupidity but I must admit that I tolerate it more now, might as well since it is not going away.  I did keep my pipes stock for some time until getting it tuned and was told that I could get a bunch more by changing the pipes.

Yeap, still hate the stupid azz's chit. Used to get po,ed now I try to laugh at it, till they put me in danger. Still digging good volume music ( might be cause I can't hear as well ). By the way ,57.

The year I turned 54 it all of a sudden seemed everything pissed me off. From traffic to the guy next door getting his mower over the line into my yard. Had a massive stressed out explosion coming back from Bikeweek on I-4 due to traffic that looking back probably ruined the whole group I was with's good time, then I got home and had a heart-attack, now 64 and since then nothing has bothered me as much, and hopefully never will.
For anyone who's never experienced one, Heart attacks suck, really suck. Take care of yourselves. Avoid as much stress as you possibly can.

i agree, also i can 't stand the music coming from the baggers,...lol

I'll be 54 this year and I find it hard to tolerate things around me. Bad drivers, loud music coming from cars, people having little or no respect for each other. And the list goes on. Now I'm thinking of putting my stock mufflers back on my bike because I'm tired of having the constant noise in my head. Is it just me or am I not alone?

100 % agree....

I would rather listen to the sound of my exhaust than a radio or chit-chat over a head set. At sixty-eight and climbing I don't have the tolerance for stupidity or the inconsideration of today's ( it's all about me ) generation. In my fifties the same things didn't even register on my aggravation meter. Oh well, we all are getting older and some earlier than others. I may grow old but never grow up!
The long rides are the best.

Same for me. I rarely turn my radio on any more, if I do only I can hear it in my headset. Some of these guys around here all have the same Lynyrd Skynyrd CD playing over and over as loud as it can play while they're constantly revving their engine at stop lights.

I can understand how non-Harley people form their opinions based on the actions of some.

I honestly think it's Everyone Else's "Self-Entitled" Attitude that p!ss3s me off.  I'm not for child abuse, but the butt wooping my dad gave me when needed didn't hurt either. He didn't tolerate ignorance,  and neither do I  - unfortunately most people ARE.  over

Ain't that the truth... I hated when I was getting my @$$ whooped (wasn't a whipping when you were on the receiving end ) but it sure made me understand that there would be a consequence for my actions.
