To and from the Redwoods Run GTG, 2016

Miguel, Babe & I rolled out of San Diego mid morning on Friday 27 May, 2016 and headed north to the Rock Store.  I'd made previous arrangements with Paul, the photographer and owner of Rock Store Photos to meet us at their in early afternoon.  Jock also met us at the Rock Store and Jerry & Carolyn just left their a few minutes before we arrived.

We turned off Hwy 101 (the So Cal people call it "the 101) on to Ca 27 and after a brief stop turned on to a road I'd heard much about in the motorcycle world, Old Topanga Canyon Rd.

It didn't take our own personal photographer Jock long to warm up to Vern (owner of the Rock Store)...



Sats. Sundays and holidays this place is covered with motorcycles.  But being a weekday, we were able to get in and out OK.

Paul is the official photgrapher and owner of The Rock Store Photos and is up there on The Snake every Sat. Sun and holiday shooting motorcycles, sports cars and Jay Leno's antiques.  Paul agreed to meet us up there this Friday and we are greatful for that.  He got some great photos of the four of us.

Mid afternoon we roll in to Andy & Sherry's.  Roger is there.  Soon Danny, Mark & Denise, Greg and Steve all rolled in.

here is the LED lighted water feature at the front gate, visible from both the inside and outside of the entrance gate....



This seating area shows the view of the Santa Clara valley below....
