What is the best way to clean the dugs out of the radiators on a 15 Street Glide?  Pulled the covers and a lot of bugs. Worried with the small fin area on coolers they will fill up with bug guts and not cool properly. 
Anyone cleaned them out?

I use an old toothbrush and lightly brush them out as to not push them further in between the fins. Quick and easy.

 What's the easiest way to take the grills off without messing them up?

Mine popped right off with not a lot of effort.  I used a small, flat-head screwdriver to gently release one edge.  I am sure the MoCo sells a "special" tool at a "special" price for this task......

I use a plastic trim tool, looks like a old time drum brake adjusting tool. Buy an assortment @ Northern Tool for $6.00. Intention is for plastic automotive trim panel removal. Work great for lots of stuff, assortment has different widths and angles. One is perfect for removing the grills on lowers and no marring of the paint.
They come off very easy, just little a small amount of persuasion.

Just tell her it's that new Crest ultra white toothbrush with the cleaning "crystals" built right in.....
