I wouldn't look at anything bigger than the HPI 62.  You aren't going to gain anything besides pms if the tuner isn't on the ball with the TPS table.

I haven't ever had the stock CVO AC impress me.  I have used plenty of the wider filters.  Although they do help.  For the money there are better filters out there.  It isn't always about more filter area.  That has a very flat backing plate with very little radius going into the TB inlet.

I got a 124 out there hitting over 160 with a HPI 58, but the whole intake was taken into consideration from tip of stack to the inlet of the port.  I think you would be better off looking for a combination that works together rather than just throwing bigger stuff at it.

I went with the agitator air cleaner kit, and bought the 58mm backplate from the SE Catalog to go with it in black.   Good amount of air and it happened to match my wheels too.  :)

Is that the style that breaths from the front of it as well?

I have a S&S Throttle hog 58mm and bolted a HD backing plate and air cleaner directly directly to it.   Also have a 58 throttlehog bolted directly to a heavy breather on the 13 SERG.

hpi said the perf machine breath pretty good, and this one pulls air from the front as well

we'll see, heres to hoping for 150/150

i have about 600 miles on the new engine so far, going to upgrade at 2500 and redyno tune

Did he mention if you were going to have to open the backing plate up to fit the mouth of the 62?  The opening of the 62 is about a 1/2 inch larger than a stock TB.  Or does PM sell one for bigger TB's.  Bolt holes are same location on the 62 as stock.
