You must also pull in the clutch handle on the '07s for them to start! Most people don't realize this! ;) Hoist! 8)

  That is only if the bike is in gear. While in Neutral mine will start without the clutch engaged.

I wonder if it is the neutral lite that triggers the relay or the actual position of the gear levers?  Like d00d said, I think I'd go with better safe than sorry. 

I've had mine jump a time or two over the 35 years I've ridden and caught it, but it does happen awfully quick if you are asleep at the switch or  :drink: :drink: had a beer when you shouldn't have.

That would be easy enough to check out Rog.  While it's unlikely there is a gear position sensor separate from the neutral light just look at a tranny to see if there's some new plug someplace (or at least more harness to the one you'd expect to see).
