Ok, never had this as an excuse for a bike project delay before.  Not a vendor issue.  Nothing broke down on the road.  Instead it's the rails.  Package delayed for an honest-to-WillieG train derailment somewhere.  Sometimes you just can't make this stuff up...

Worst case and it's all trashed in this case it's no big deal (at least for me).  Awhile back I'd decided to make up a tour pak for the Road King.  Started with an aftermarket chopped pack.  Just never quite liked the lines as it rested on the bike.  So sold it and ordered a razor sized aftermarket piece instead.  The box is that razor pack.  Comes from a vendor rather than just a guy.  So there's more stock out there if needed and the whole thing had no time urgency to it.  Of all the things I've wrecked, crashed, rolled, dented, abused or had some roll thereto just never had a train in the mix before.....
