I took a ride yesterday and after my post rode waterless wash wipe down, I noticed that there is a little play in the exhaust. There is no side to side play...but if you lift up in the muffler...there is a little play.  I can't imagine them being worn out at almost 1000 miles, but I gues you never know!

Every HD I have had, has had some up and down movement, it is when they make a chirping sound at idle when I push a penny between the rubber and plate to quiet them down.

A little play in the vertical plane is normal.

I figured it was normal,  it was up on my J&S Jack and I lifted up on the muffler and it went up maybe 1/16"....but on a 1000 mile bike, how could the mounts be bad...
