Anybody running this seat? Just put mine on and was hoping it was comparable to the mustang I had on my softail. Not even close. The seat is comfy without the backrest, put the backrest in and it feels like its shoving me forward. Tried 3 of the 4 mounting holes. If I move the bracket back any farther it distorts the passanger seat. Acts like the mount leans forward. Do not like.

Not sure what you have it on but I have one on my '05 SEEG. Like it better than the Mustang and I use the Mustang rider backrest which works very well for me.

Had a Sundowner on my FLHXSE-3 and I used the adjustable rider backrest mounting kit for the backrest. No problems after I set the adjustment.

I have the seat with technology adjustable rider backrest for our 16 SESG, we use it for long trips, in the "furthest forward" positikn, yes, it feels like you're on top of the tank. But pull the lever and lean into it- & it was extremely comfortable. Get the adjustable backrest.
