Yesterday I'm riding along at 30 mph and I needed to slow down for a car in my pah. I pulled in the clutch, blipped the throttle and then... POP! and the engine went silent. I coasted to the side of the road. let it sit for a minute and it fired back up without any hesitation. I road about a half mile to my house without incident. Outside temp was about 88, I'd been riding only about 6 miles or so and it gave no indication it was having any trouble... Any ideas?

You don't mention seeing any trouble codes so will assume there weren't any.  While the only thing we know for sure is that we don't know what happened my first go-to for a sudden shut off without codes that allows the bike to often restart normally is a crank position sensor.

I do not remember seeing any codes. This is the first time this has happened, If it happens again I'll have to be more diligent.

Next time you start the bike look at your gauges. If the engine light stays lit for several seconds after the others its telling you that a trouble code is stored.

Notice in the OP that the engine died after blipping the throttle.  This could easily be a tuning issue.

It's happened twice and it'll usually be if I grab the clutch during decel. Last time I was going about 25mph in 2nd and grabbed the clutch. It just didn't catch idle quick enough. Restarted while rolling

Mine has done it a couple times. Blip throttle,  pops and shuts off. Bone stock, 5k miles
