FLSTFIA
« on: July 18, 2016, 01:19:32 PM »

Hi folks, I'm new to this site so to start with, Hello to all you true people riding HD, i've a question i want to ask and this seems the right place for an answer. I bought an FLSTFIA 95 in. that i love to ride and would like to find out more about. I remember seeing an article in some rag that said this was a bike built by HD CVO with screaming eagle big bore (at the time) but just a baby by comparison with some of what you guys are riding now. Any info greatly appreciated. CHEERS , steve,

To my memory the only CVO FLSTF's came with 103 ci motors. Those bike came out in '05 & '06. What year is your bike?

From doing a search the Harley FLSTFIA , it came out in 2005 and was a 15th anniversary of the Fatboy edition. Not sure how rare or what came standard on it though.......

That nomenclature is the 15th anniversary Fatboy.  Not a CVO bike and not with a 103.  Just a Fatboy with some extra (costs) for being an anniversary model.

If memory serves, the anniversary fat boys in 2005 were the first non cvo bikes powered by a factory 95 inch motor.

Kinda like the s models introduced recently with the 110 engine....

Hi Guys, Thanks for your replies, the bike is a 15 year ann. model, 2005. It was a newspaper called the Herald that I think I read it in. So much for the accuracy of their  scribes ay. Thanks again ride safe, Steve.
