Just  Not  Into  this  Heatwave!       :soapbox:

I am out west.......and those are my ideal temps, too!   :P

I shared with other members of this forum last weekend....."I remember back when it had to be over 110F to really bother me.....then it was over 100F........then it was over 90F.......hell, now anything over 80F is to damn hot".  :nervous:

Yep, growing up in the South, Summer has always been my least favorite time of year to ride... Although some Buds and I did manage to get 100 mi. or so yesterday, was quite enjoyable, we were skirting some thunder showers, had a great lighting show just after dusk...

Tennessee has felt like FL this summer with mid 90's and high humidity.  Feels like a sauna when riding.  Only comfortable in mornings or late evening.  Need a good long cold front to come through or a long trip to the mountains.  That sounds like a plan in about a month.  :)

Some heat would be great. It's 45 here now & we have a fire going. At this point I'll be happy if it doesn't snow.

it was 89 degrees this morning at 5:45 down here in South East Texas when I got into town
Sunday's ride was in the upper 90's which I always try and take south towards the coast line so it's little easier
can't wait to get the jacket back out for rides
Brother in law just got back from a 5000 mile ride, OKC (hot) to Maine (nice I'm sure) over to Sturgis (still comfortable I'm guessing)
then back to OKC

Having the same weather here, but to tell the truth rain (did I really just say that :shocked2:) has been better than high 90's w/70+% humidity level. Damn if I didn't find out new places I could sweat when it was that hot. :sweatdrop: :(

Seems like it is always hot here. Luckily it's never too far to the next watering hole.

It has been the hottest summer on record here. A day in the mid to high 80's is considered a cold front coming thru. Mid to high 90's and into the 100's with 75 to 90% humidity is the
norm around here way into September. At least it will be cool in Maggie Valley for the GTG next month.
