Hi Guys,
I picked up my first CVO Limited this month and thought I'd say hi with a quick review of the journey so far

My harley love affair started 25 years ago (almost to the day) when Arnie rocked up on a Fatboy as his Terminator alter ego. I couldn't take my eyes off it and was so intoxicated with the look and sound of the bike that I came out of the movie theatre and bought a second ticket so I could go right back in and watch it all again. I was only 15 years old at the time but having grown up sitting on the back of my Dad's Honda 50 biking was already in the blood....

Two years later I had my own bike. A used Suzuki RG80 that saw me through a wonderful summer and unlocked the freedom that a teenager craves for. 12 months in and a nasty spill on a winters evening made me take a 14 year hiatus from any transport of the two wheeled variety.

Fast forward to 2008 when my lovely wife came down the stairs and gave me the wonderful news that we were expecting our first baby. I gave her a big hug and told her that I was going to celebrate by getting my first harley

Some frantic bidding on eBay followed and it wasn't long before I was the proud owner of my very own Fatboy. Trouble was I was in Dublin and the bike was in Pensylvania but after trip to the US and three months of waiting it made it's way to the Emerald Isle.

Eight years of glorious Harley ownership later and I felt it was time to get something I could really enjoy the longer miles on. The fatboy was everything I had hoped for but the extended trips to Barcelona France and Scotland were showing up its weak spots and I wanted to be able to enjoy all the time I had in the saddle.
It was only this year with a big 'FOUR O' birthday on the horizon that I decided to take the plunge and splash out on a new CVO. It took weeks of tyre kicking and 'online drooling' before I decided on the colour combo and placed my order. I have the bike three weeks now and managed to put 2,000 KM's on the clock. If the next 10k are half as enjoyable as these first 2 have been it's going to be a helluva ride!
