Wanted to put some spice in my wife and I 30 year marriage...so over the past month I had the local HD dealer upgrade our 2015 SESG in Hard Candy Mercury to the SE117 drop in kit...she was coupled with the Fullsac header and 2.5 cores...dyno'd at 107HP and 112TQ...took my favorite girl, affectionately known as, Brina, for the same upgrade  HD 117 drop-in with Fullsac header and 2.25 cores...she dyno'd at 106HP and 109TQ...after riding them thru the night...I submit it was an awesome 3-some!

Congrats on the 117" kits , and you have two beautiful bikes, and apparently a great lady as well!

Now the numbers on the dealership tune, are off by a good margin.  Not sure why, but not matching what others are getting out of that kit.  Maybe take it to a professional Indy tuner (See my signature).

Just sharing/funning on the form with a bunch of super CVO souls! 

I put in a lot of hard work for those three girls...Sabrina (wife), Brina (UC), and Bree (SG)...my wife is a great passenger/backseater so when we picked up the bikes and rode two up - the package was an "awesome 3-some".

Agree the numbers were low or not what I expected...but what a difference the SE 117 drop in kit makes dragging me and Sabrina around.  Good news is we can go back into the kitchen and chase marital blitz with the sound performance information provided on this sight...

In all seriousness ,How are you finding the 117" drop in kit,? I've been thinking about having it done but am worried about bottom end being a bit lumpy with the 258e cam and not being as smooth as the 255cam in the low revs torque and pick up,
Your honest opinions on this kit and the ride ability would be most appreciated buddy .

With this lower numbers I assume that you did not do the full kit with the cams, or did you? 

I love riding the bike after the 117 install. Was a pig before this, although still sluggish, nowadays fun to ride. Best money I spent on the HD

Your numbers seem rather low for the 117 Drop in Kit.  Heck, torque is right where my 2015 SERGU is with just a fullsac DX head pipe and 2.25 cores and a good tune.

My prior build on my 13 SERK was just over 120 HP and Torque SAE with a 110 engine and the 259E cam the kit uses, same injectors as the kit also but and HPI 55 mm throttle body.
