Well, I didn't really intend to make a change this year, but ran across a 2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra in need of rescue.
Her name is Dusty. Only a year old, she’s not like the ones before. She is more confident. More capable. More determined. She comes from a family that - in my humble opinion - neglected her. Don’t get me wrong, they kept her clean and cared for her basic needs, but never really showed her what the world has to offer or allowed her to stretch those long, beautiful legs. I am going to change that. Not for me, but for Dusty. She deserves more out of this precious life. Dusty is my retirement present to myself since no one else would buy her for me, though she has been approved by the wife! We currently live in East Texas but are trying to work our way to North Carolina or Tennessee so that we can enjoy the mountain roads a little more often.
My former mistress (2014 Ultra Limited) is not happy at all with this surprise turn of events...seems she and Dusty are already fighting (for space in the garage). So I guess I need to find her a new home soon.
Here is a pic of Dusty fresh out of the shower.
I know most of you are good people and have made similar sacrifices. Let's keep making the world a better place.
