It seems odd that I am saying welcome and you joined before I did in 2012.   :)  It won't hurt to keep your 2014 along with your new bike. Think of it like bringing a new puppy home to meet your faithful dog of 10 years, she may be jealous for a little while but soon will become friends with your new pup as long as you spend time with both. Of course if your going to neglect your older bike, by all means find a good home for her.

Welcome to the CVO family  :2vrolijk_21:

I also vote - ummm we are voting, right :nixweiss: - that you keep both bikes at least for a while and hopefully you'll be able to spend time on each. Many of us here have multiple bikes to suit our different moods.

Welcome, from the clear lakes and the twisty roads of the mountains of Northwest Arkansas!

Congratulations on your new CVO!  It's good to have you with you with us on the web's best forum for CVO owners!

We hope you'll check out the threads regarding our CVO Harley Get-Togethers (GTG's).  We always have a great time at these events, and it's an excellent way to put faces with names and make new friends and riding buddies!
We have annual GTG's in California, the Smokies (Sept '16), and in the middle of the country at Eureka Springs, Arkansas (June '17).  Please search the site to find out more information about these events, or PM me and I'll be happy to tell you more about the Eureka Springs event.  And you can always visit the "Events" section on the forum.
We encourage you to participate if you can make it!

Glad to have you with us!  Methinks you have the makings of a good author!  Have you ever considered writing?  You're introduction was witty and well thought out!

Thank you, Harry.  I have read through the Events threads and noted the active GTG schedule. Love the concept and will make all possible...provided a cigar and good scotch or whiskey are permitted after hours. For medicinal purposes only, of course.

As for the writing skill, thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I have to give credit to Mrs. Musick, my ninth grade English teacher, and 35 years in corporate America for teaching me the importance of written communication and telling an interesting story. I already have two (not yet published) authors in the family, so not sure we need three on that journey! I'd rather just go on an adventure with Dusty. :)

Yes, cigars and whiskey (or your beverage of choice) are never frowned upon and can frankly be encouraged...after hours, of course.   :D
BTW, I too, had good English teachers in my formative years, but spending almost 30 years in south Arkansas (also working for corporate America) dulled my senses somewhat, as well as my command of the King's English.
We were never far from east Texas while down there, and often went to Texarkana and parts more westerly from there.  But we got smart and retired, and subsequently fled that scene for one more interesting and enjoyable up here in the Ozarks.
So if you want to get to know some of us and enjoy some awesome fellowship, check out this forum in particular, and think about coming up for that extended weekend!

By the time next June gets here, we are almost certain to have over 50 CVO's booked for this event.  Hope to see you there!
