As bad as I have to crap I'm glad I didn't have to go. Last night when hurricane came thru the area  we lost power so the well pump wouldn't work. So when the generator came on line it still wasn't working. S0 I called my buddy Steve and told him that I think I had a line drop out. So he came over this morning amd confirmed my thoughts. Replaced the cable and are back in business another bullet dodged.

Glad you're home, Unc!  When the main topic of conversation at hand is about "pinchin' a loaf", one should take into consideration the many rewards of this ancient past-time.  Such as, the pure pride and joy that comes immediately after this august event, by standing up and closely peering at the monumental finished product, of this cathartic process.  Lastly, breathing in that thick, lingering, unique aroma, one final time before flushing.  One can only wish that the "politically correct" crowd was there to savor, and enjoy.   Ain't nuthin' like a good chit.....when you're 'bout to!  There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

Glad to see you posting up. Just check with the doc about getting some of that prep stuff they used for cleanouts before that wonderful exam they do after the age of 50 every so many years. I kinda wonder who wins that war, the pain meds or the clean out meds.

It's called "GoLYTELY" and you had to mention that... I've got one of those "wonderful exams" as you put it coming up next month. Damn... what we have to go thru as we get older.

Had my exam 2 weeks ago. No knockout drugs. Full HD TV in the OR. They got 8 of the little young bastards .. polyps. Good riddens.

There is also an over the counter that works called Miralax. Target/Walmart has it and a generic version about $2 cheaper. You mix it with a 64oz Gatorade. Should do the trick. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids before taking this stuff.

This ain't my first "rodeo"... being getting them every 5 years since around 40 years of age... no "rookie" here when it comes to this procedure... but it beats the hell out of not getting them to find out later that a disaster could have been avoided. Glad your procedure turned out well and you got rid of the polyp's.

But you know... I'll take all the procedures, poking, prodding, aches, & pains (and trust me I've had a plenty) that come with it.. It sure beats the hell out of the alternative (die young).

Same here.  Never planned to live that long.  Somehow time slips away.  Is too late for me to grow up though.  We would laugh our asses off at the oldsters making doc appointments & all.  Now they are us.
