I can tell you that speeds above 40 MPH on a bicycle can be kinda scary, those tires are really skinny and it doesn't take much to cause a loss of traction and/or control....
I lowsided my TREK once at about 25 MPH in a corner and it left a lasting impression... not to mention a scar or two.

Probably couldn't hear the "ding" of the bicycle bell because of his full faced helmet.

Small thin tire and no suspension,  I would give him a very wide birth.  Last thing I would want to happen is for him to loose right in front of me.  He has a pair to say the least.

I remember a few years ago going down the mountain into Salt Lake City on a Sunday morning and coming up on some bicycles that I rode beside for a while and they were doing right at 63 mph.
