2017 New Horn

Does the horn on the 2017's make the same lame sound as their predecessors?  They look different.

Not sure which one your speaking of when you mention "predecessor" but the horns were changed/upgraded (considerably louder) on '14 MY and up bikes...

Loud Side-Mount Horn Kit-69060-90H

I think the change is the horn cover. :nixweiss:

My 15 is louder than my 12 Fatboy Lo, but it's just as lame...  Wish they would at least do dual horns...

If you want louder you will have to go aftermarket... here's an old thread that shows what can be done and maintain stock look - Stebel Mini Air Horn--stock location on a SEEG. Or you can fabricate a bracket, purchase another horn kit, and split/run some wires from OEM horn to have duals.

Been down that road before.  Custom Dynamics has a great and loud horn I like if I ever decide to upgrade it.
