I think one or two here have used them and say they do quite down the loose rocker shafts.  Doesn't look like a big job to do them.

This winter when I do my lifters, I plan to do something to the rockers shafts as well.

I think the answer to your question may be that they certainly don't hurt anything, and if your rocker shafts are loose enough to move and make noise, then they certainly can eliminate that particular noise...    :2vrolijk_21:

I'm doing my 117 build, didn't try them yet but installed them already (very easy), when I pulled rocker bolts there was marks of contacts with rocker shafts, also it was easy to rotate rocker shaft by using screw driver, so yes I think they will do the job

Rockouts cured a specific tick-tick I had.  :2vrolijk_21:  I had witness marks on two bolts.

I use set screws.if the shafts moving this (or rock outs) will help.but any valve noise can be caused by multible issues,so they (or set screws) ane not a "cure all".

I had them put in recently during a 113" build. The previous ticking I had at cruising RPM's did disappear after the build.

IF your noise is caused by rocker shaft movement, then locking the shaft in place with Rockouts or other methods will eliminate that one source of noise.  However, if your rocker shafts are already tight and don't move, obviously adding Rockouts won't fix your noise.  Thankfully they don't overcharge for this simple part like some places would, so having a set on hand before opening up the rocker covers won't break the bank if you find the rocker shafts aren't the problem.

Yep used them they worked for me, found no movement on disassembly of the rocker shafts ,but not to say the heat of expansion of  the different metals at operating temp cause the noise.

Done my Fatboy, Cvo conv sounds worse on synth/hot motor, getting done now

The only issue i saw was that once they are installed you lose any wiggle room you may need. Sometimes you need to fudge the rocker arm support plate towards the cam side to prevent the pushrods from hitting the pushrod tubes

That is spot on ..  IF the shaft is loose then yes that can create noise. However if the shaft is fitting tightly in the support then no nothing it will do for you .
