120 or 124

buying either a 120  or  a 124  for a softail, which motor would be best, need one with the bottom end already done, don t want a harley 120 cause ya gotta tear it down before using it,

X2.. The 120 is only a beefed up "Twinkie" w/the same bottom end (crank) issues.

S&S does not offer a B balanced motor for sale.
Build yours to a 124" with the same heads you have and a new cam, the S&S 640

I would build yours.  Way more bang for the buck, and you will have the opportunity to really have something over a crate engine.  You could also leave the balancers out.
