Drag raced the CVO springer
« on: October 11, 2016, 11:20:10 PM »

I ran my Springer for the second time last week at Oxford plains dragway little 1/8 mile track in western Maine big fun 8.29@84mph was my best time. I'm curious if anyone else has raced their 110 cvo and how mine compares. It's stock with a thunder header pipe and I'm 300lbsI hope the pic I added works

Nice sounds like a great MPH for 1/8 mile. Is the bike stock or have you had work done?

Its right at the top of 3rd gear at the finish line I've seen a newer Ultra limited there a couple times he ran 8.45 but I didn't get a chance to ask about any mode he had

That is pretty cool.

My convertible was quick (V&H with the SE turner) but never did anything on the track.
With the extra weight on the CVO limited (what I have now are DX header, Kuryakyn crushers, TTS) I don't see how it could keep up with a lighter bike.  There was a big difference between the two bikes.

Of course that other person may be very good at running at the strip.  Ever part of a second (start and shifts) will add up.

This makes me think about trying that out as well.

Thanks!
