I wanted to wish my baby a great Happy Valentines Day!

I met Nancy on May 28th 2004 and my life has changed for the better since.

A friend called me telling me about this lady that worked for Wachovia that was thinking about buying a Harley.

He gave me her # and I called and we talked about what she was looking for. We met and started her quest for a

bike. We looked for about a month and each time we got together I had a blast. We found one and and she was a

happy camper. I realized then my job was done but suggested we ride some together just to make sure it was fine.

A couple months later everything changed. We were riding on a country road and three dogs ran out in front of my

Nancy. The worst thing I have ever seen. Her bike tumbling along the road and her body doing the same. It was bad

but even in a bloody mess she wanted to get up and pick up her bike. In surgery at the hospital about 6 hours later

the doctor working on her face said, "look what I found". He pulled a piece of her mirror out from under her skin in her

face about the size of a dime. Nancy is a trooper and after a month or so she healed up. We rode to Myrtle Beach,

we rode to Daytona and during that time I realized I wanted her riding with me forever!

We have had a blast and as members of this site we have ridden and made friends that are friends for life.

I proposed a union of two V twins and she accepted. We are to be married March 10 here in Charlotte at a small

service. I am a lucky man to have her and on a special day like this I hope to have her as my Valentine. She certainly

has my heart! I love you Nancy! Happy Valentines Day!

There's just one thing you got wrong ... I am the lucky one!  I was looking for a Harley and found my best friend ... my wonderful lover ... my pillar of strength.  You took care of me after the accident and haven't stopped.  I love you with ALL my heart and can't wait to be your wife.

That really is a wonderful post tho SB! Sure wish it wasn't conflicting with the Daytona trip since we would love to meet ya'll!! BUT it's as good a reason as I can think of! I'm really happy for you both!
