There are various products from Harley, Custom  Dynamics, and Kuryakyn.  Here are a couple of examples.

Custom Dynamics Dual Color Plasma Rods 10

Kuryakyn LED Inserts For Saddlebag Supports (Chrome)- Harley Davidson FLHTCU/ FLHTK/ FLHR Models (14- Up)

Harley's matches the tour pak lights pretty close for intensity.  I liked them for ease of install and matching design.

The CD's will be much brighter than the Kuryakyn or Harley.

The Custom Dynamics are by far the brightest. The Magic box (can't remember the actual name of the part) that allows operation as a run/turn/brake/strobe has an adjustment to allow you to adjust the intensity to match your existing brake/tour pak etc lights and also allows you to choose a pattern for the rear lights when the brakes are applied. I have mine on strobe then solid. Pretty simple turn the screw deal.

I installed the CD Flatz, they are easy to install and are very bright. I just wish that the adapter harness was made better. You would think it would be plug and play.
