Fulsac DX and Rinehart 4
« on: November 04, 2016, 04:01:23 PM »

Hi everyone!!
Just got my new 2014 electra glide cvo limited. Was very lucky to find it with only 242 miles on. Thinking about Fulsac DX with 4 inch Rinehart and V&H fuelpac fp3 and K&N hi flow airfilter. Anybody has a sugestion or have a similar setup? Thx. New from AZ.

Moved your thread to the appropriate technical board so you may get comments/suggestions to your inquiry. If you want to go back and create another thread in the New Member Introduction to introduce yourself feel free to do so. Having your thread in the appropriate technical board will (should) get you more replies to your inquiry vs more welcome to the site posts. Good luck.

Steve @ FullSac is in Lake Havasu, make a ride to him for install & tune.. FWIW...if you're thinking of running the 4" Rineharts ... use Steves 2.25 CVO core w/ screens in your OE muffler & save yourself the money & use it for the TTS to tune.

Welcome to the forum. Real good people around here, and a knowledgable bunch too. Better than most forums.

I ran the DX and Rinehart 4 ". Awesome sound if you dont mind a bit of volume.

But, if you dont want to leave any power on the table and want a fully optimized set up, you need to go with a muffler with a 2" baffle, and no bigger (the Rineharts have 2.25" baffles). The most popular choices around here are the Fullsac 2" cores or the Kuryakyn Crushers.  Hope that helps.

I am running the rineharts and the fullsac header.  I am very happy with the performance and the sound.  I did also get the TTS tuner from Steve.  I did have my bike tuned, 15K miles and 2 rear tires later...

So I am not pleased to say , my first set of Reinharts I bought in Milwaukee after being advised that V&H were $h1t compared to Reinharts ! (2013)
Well I still have them but imo V&H are better made better chrome . OK I'm in the UK but I don't ride when salt is scattered about from Nov/ Dec > March. JMO
