FLHTCUSE stock vs Daymaker??
« on: November 10, 2016, 12:02:34 PM »

So, I've tried to search, but the most I come up with is why once replacement headlight is better than another.

I'm trying to understand if the stock CVO Ultra headlight is worth updating to the Daymaker??

I can understand a non-CVO, but the lamps on my CVO are already an upgrade from a standard ultra and I don't want to waste money if its not a noticeable difference.

Mine is an 09

Thanks!

The Daymakers are appropriately named and will make a night and day difference. IMHO it is one of the best upgrades you can do. They are amazing.

Are you riding CU or RG?
I've heard mixed things depending on the large double vs single lights.

I added the daymaker headlight and spots on my 11.5 CUSE6 and It really was among the best upgrades I did.  I also added some fender mount driving lights to light up the areas directly in front of and to the left/right of the bike because I did find that the LED's are much more focused and have less light "spillage".

Key is, make sure the alignment is correct too..makes a big difference in light dispersion, most are aimed on the low side from the MoCo
