LED lights
« on: December 14, 2016, 05:09:23 PM »

I installed LED "Darla" lights by Clearwater on my 16 SERGU the other day and rode to work this morning. I am very happy with the results as they provide great lighting to the sides and down the road. They're a little expensive, but IMO are worth the improved safety.

We have the bigger Clearwater Erica's mounted on three of our bikes including the CVO, and I'm about to mount some an a recently purchased ST1300 police.  Great lights for those of us loosing our night vision who still enjoy traveling at night.

I mounted the dimmer switch inside the left fairing compartment. Out of sight and the weather.

Do you have any pics?  They must be huge on the bike?

Actually I mounted them in place of the passing lamps. Not everyone's thing, but it works for me that I can see well at night now.
