Is there such a thing as a Motorcycle Friendly RV park in/near Myrtle Beach?

I know Myrtle Beach is anti motorcycle and it continues with the RV Parks.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Lakewood Camping Resort, Ocean Lakes Campground have all replied with pretty much the same reply as below.

"Motorcycles are not allowed to be operated within the park.  They can be parked in a designated area near the office or brought in on a trailer to your site - just can't be operated in park.  Please call if you need further info."

I'm sorry but there is no way in God's green earth I'm going to push, pull or drag my bike through the campgrounds let alone leave it out somewhere other than at my camp site.

I have not tried Pirateland yet.

The wife and I have trailered our bikes to Apache Campground in Myrtle Beach twice. They allow motorcycles all weeks EXCEPT bike week. (but not motorized scooters) This is a oceanfront campground, so some spots can be tight but on our last trip we had a 31' class A camper with a 12' trailer and were able to get a spot in April without prior booking.

I looked at Apache. The EXCEPT part is the deal breaker for me.

I'm roughly 66' long which makes it interesting at times getting around camp grounds. Add in the rear ramp door plus the space needed to unload the bike and I become a space whore real quick!

Yup, if your looking for a place FOR bike week you are going to have a hard time. Especially with a combined length of 66'. The combination is very, very restrictive. You will probably be better off looking in the immediate area outside of Myrtle Beach.

I agree. I am doing that right now....

WillowTree RV Resort looks nice, now to see if they are motorcycle friendly.

Might try the K.O.A.  Under equipment type (in motorhome section) they list motorcycles. Looks like a good sign. They show a max length of 80' and under "unique amenities" they list motorcycle clubs.

I see they have availability.. that is a plus.. I'll give them and one other a call tomorrow. I have to sort out my dates.

I've done 31 out of the last 34 (spring and fall) events. The last few years I've been booking houses.

I have a 3 night obligation near Myrtle during the rally so my thought was to stay a few extra days.....

If you are looking for Bike week  times we have stayed at Lakewood last two years and will again this year if possible only time of year they allow bikes to trailer but if gets to late they will stop you at gate. Have also been told that there are few spots up near front that can possibly use other time of year,

Lakewood said I couldn't ride through the park and I had to push, pull or tow my bike to my site or leave it out front in the lot... Not happening.
