New member from the great state of Texas
« on: December 29, 2016, 03:04:12 PM »

Traded in my 2011 RGU for my first ever CVO over Labor Day weekend.   :pepper:

2016 Ruby Red Palladium Silver Road Glide Ultra.  Added a tinted windscreen and SVT Boneshaker slip-ons.   Just got the bike back from the dealer after adding the 117 kit.

LOVE this bike.   Just hit 6,300 miles.

Welcome to a great forum. What do you think about the 117 kit compared to stock?

I just posted some info in the 85 page 117 thread.   It is a definite improvement for sure but the dyno numbers seem a little low.  That being said, a lot of people have additional work done such as head work or different cams so it is hard to find an apples to apples comparison.  The dealers inability to use the SE Race Tuner is another impediment.

Overall, I am happy with it but there is more power available if I go to an independent shop who is not constrained like my dealer is (thanks EPA).

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina!
Meeting the members and being able to put faces on the posters on this site is a real thing here with CVO Harley. We have GTG's, Get Togethers, a few times a year. This is a chance to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. We socialize, ride our bikes, eat really well, and even have a drink or two. These GTG's are found in The Events section of the forum. Next year in June is The National Meet In The Middle GTG in Eureka Springs, AK.
See the attached links:

Sure would be nice to meet you at one or all.

Welcome to the best forum on the Internet for CVO owners, coming to you from the clear lakes and the twisty mountain roads of north Arkansas!

After you get settled on the forum, I hope you'll check out the threads about our CVO Harley Get-Togethers (GTG's) in the Events Section.  We always have a great time at these events, and it's an excellent way to put faces with names, and to make new friends and riding buddies!  Plus it's always cool to see what the other owners are doing to their bikes.

If you're interested, follow these leads to find out more information about our Eureka Springs June 2017 Get-Together, or PM me and I'll be happy to tell you more about it:

We currently have around 65 bikes and 110 people signed up for this event and expect more to join us in the coming months, so consider making your reservations soon!  We are getting a group discount for this event, and the hotel is perfect for our needs and the scenery and roads will be a blast!

We're glad to have you with us, and congratulations on your new Harley!
