I have a couple days off next week so maybe I can get it back together and running then. If it still runs then I guess I will pull the top off it and see if I can get educated the cheap way on a top end. The way the weather has turned its not like there will be much riding done anyhow

If you haven't installed the new tensioners yet, check out the new design from S&S.  Very high quality piece that's priced right.  https://www.sscycle.com/products/hydraulic-cam-chain-tensioner-kit-for-2007-16-hd-2006-dyna-big-twins/

I'll take a look at them, but already have the inner on the plate and the outter is unwrapped.

Hopefully the next time will be about 40,000 miles from now and that would put me into the S&S 124 time frame

Well still have not had a chance to get bike back together but did get home this afternoon in time to check the crank run out. From hearing from others here I guess I should be happy at 65,000 miles and be at .003. I get a day off Thursday and temperature is supposed to get back to almost 60 so maybe she will get put back together then

I personally wouldn't change those shoes as once they are worn down that far they won't wear further on the roller chains.  Good advice to change the inner bearings.  I align the oil pump to the plate with the alignment pins then let the camplate assembly find center with the crank as it is fastened to the case.
