A little off the post, but just kind of sideways.  I never thought that turning 40 was that big a deal, 30 was much harder to me because it meant that you were no longer a kid and really were an adult.  Now turning 60 was a pretty big deal because it made me think about my own mortality, hopefully not soon but certainly closer than the beginning.
