New to this forum but certainly not new to H-D.  I have searched on CVO info on this site for many years.

Currently own a 2002 FXDWG3.  The FXDWG3 is a great bike that I have upgraded but kept the cosmetics as stock as possible (with the exception of a detachable windshield).  Main upgrades include SE-204 cams with hybrid camplate, SEII mufflers, and the corresponding carburetor and ignition upgrades.  The bike couldn't possibly run (or sound) better.  Still gets attention anywhere I stop after all these years.

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina!
Meeting the members and being able to put faces on the posters on this site is a real thing here with CVO Harley. We have GTG's, Get Togethers, a few times a year. This is a chance to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. We socialize, ride our bikes, eat really well, and even have a drink or two. These GTG's are found in The Events section of the forum. This year in June is The National Meet In The Middle GTG in Eureka Springs, AK.

Thank you folks for the welcome!

Unfortunately what I've found in general is a split crowd on the CVO bikes in that some think only rich old guys own them (i.e. not "real" bikers) and others think they are the alpha dogs of the HD lineup.  I bought mine used for a fair price, ride it hard, and do my own wrenching, but honestly with today's sticker prices on the CVOs I can understand both sides.

A CVO GTG sounds interesting.  I typically try to attend the annual Milwaukee rally but rarely get out to others.  I've ridden out to Sturgis a couple of times years ago but those days are behind me, at least for awhile.
