Hi everybody- I joined back in Sept. or Oct. 06 but didn't post an intro yet- I got a new Blue 07 FLHTCUSE2 in Sept.06- My first Harley and what a Bike! Latus Harley-Davidson in Gladstone OR let me ride a new FLHT Electra Glide and the Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic back-to-back for 20 miles, both solo and with my wife. What a difference- hydraulic clutch, power- Wow. Speaking of power, it's going back up to Latus on the 19th for: Rush slip-ons, Air Cleaner, Race-Tuner and Dyno tune, Y-pipe mod (they dremel out the part of the exhaust pipe from the back cylinder that sticks part way into the main pipe from the front cylinder), and 20-weight fork oil.
I really appreciate all of the help I've gotten from the people on this site- reading comments and some personal emails.
By the way, Latus has a huge collection of Dyno charts on their web page-
http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com/mbbs2/forums/forum-view.asp?fid=43 I'm doing my own before-and after dyno runs, on the street- I'm timing 60-80mph roll-ons in 5th and 6th, and also timing a run from 2000-5000 rpm in 3rd gear- approximately 30-80mph. I'll post the old and new times along with the before and after dyno charts when I get them.
I've ridden a total of about 15,000 miles on three Japanese bikes- GS750 and GS1100 Suzooks and a YZF600R Yamaha.
