Looks like every year, except the first year.  By looking at the color of the transmission cases.

Some have been black, some have been silver, and some have been granite.  Depends on how far back you go.

It sometimes just depends on the paint package. The Kryptoglides (2011 FLHXSE Green CVO Street Glides) had black engines with lots of other black out trim.
The other three FLHXSEs had granite as I recall.
I'm pretty sure that the 2016 Atomic red SGCVO has granite...

I know my 09 SERG was a granite.  And I'm pretty sure my 15 SERGU was granite.

My 12 SERG was black, my 13 SERK is black

What years did the factory have granite motor/trans in CVO's?

The simple answer is that it isn't that simple. Lots of them had granite through ALL the years but it has never been "all CVOs are this color this year" (except for the FXRs) It varies with different color options and bike models. It isn't a "year thing".
