Street Canons vs Fuel Moto Jackpot vs Kuryakyn Crusher
« on: February 18, 2017, 07:00:10 PM »

I have a new 2017 CVO Limited and I am looking for some different slip on mufflers than stock. I have narrowed my search down to 1. Screamin Eagle Street Canons, 2. Fuel Moto Jackpot, or 3. Kuryakyan Crusher. I know the choice is a personnel prefernce, but I was looking for input from people who have had these and would like their opinion.

I have had two sets of the Kuryakyn Crushers and like them. They have pretty good sound when you give her throttle but when just riding down the road they are pretty mellow. We prefer the quitter sound when riding down the road. When I put on the Fullsack headers and TTS tuner the sound got a little louder but still much quitter than V&H which I had on my 2010 CVO. If you are looking for a lot of sound I would not recommend the Crushers. Just my 2 cents.

Install FullSac cores in your CVO mufflers, best look on the bike too from choices above mentioned

I tried the Fullsac cores on my previous 2009 CVO and didn't care for them, too raspy in my opinion. I am looking for a deep, rumble sound, not too loud crusing along, with a deep throaty rumble whn you get on it.

Have you considered the CFRs?  Deep rumble; not too loud on M8 engine if you have the stock header.  Check this thread for first-hand report:  https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=110596.0

FullSac 2.25 CVO core does the job on the MKE 8 114 with OE headpipe
If you're referencing "raspy"on accel & de accel.... that's usually a tune issue.

But back to your OP... the three mentioned above.. Street Cannon is a nice muffler for the OE headpipe... but the 2.25 FullSac core will still be half the price & retain the OE look

All three of these brands use a perforated core. Perf has a sharper and louder tone when compared to a spiral
louvered core. If your keeping the stock cat headpipe, this type of core will give a larger sound increase over louvered
and still be "touring friendly". If the cat is removed later, that acceptable sound level line may get crossed.
