Engine upgrades
« on: February 21, 2017, 01:42:36 PM »

Does anyone know who has the best engine upgrade shop in or near South Carolina? I've been thinking of upgrading to a 117 kit on my 2016 CVO. Are there any better options for around the same money? So far I have only contacted my local Harley dealer for quotes.

Where in sc are you? You may be as close to protwin in Georgia as you are tman in Kernersville,nc. Good shops are not really hard to find. You will hear the big names thrown around on a forum. I'm in Lancaster, SC.

I'm in Greenwood SC. In the upstate. See many shops but I want a proven one to work on my bike that I can get good advice of what to do whether it be a harley kit or something else.

Talk to one you trust local to do the wrenching. They may stand behind the work in case of leaks or whatever. You can get the head work and other hard parts from tman, protwin, gmr, etc.

Haven't heard anything bad. Their kits look strong on the website. You can check other forums too. Lots of information on hdforums too.
