Hey guys, my name is Scott. I have been riding for over 40 years, but mostly Jap rockets. I bought an 04 Softail Standard back in October, mainly because it was a real good deal, and I wanted to find out if I liked it. I LOVE IT! My dream bike for about the last 5 years or so was the 08 CVO Springer Softail, so I started my pursuit...I wanted it SO bad....until I saw it. The orange looked great in all the pics I had seen, but was just too loud for me in person, and I hadn't realized they went down to an 18" front wheel. A friend said "find you an 07"....and went on to tell me about the Copper paint and 21" front wheel, so the search continued. I set myself a money limit, and went shopping. I found 4 bikes within reach, and commenced to going and visiting them. I settled on a sweet 07 out in Rutledge Ga. Made my top dollar offer(2000 less than asking price) and low and behold owner took it.
So, here I am. Looking for all the info I can find, and was sent here by a friend that HIGHLY recommended you guys. Now I'm an easy going guy, I'm 54 years old, and comfortable in my lifestyle but in no way rich. I have been fortunate enough to take a talent I have into a decent career, and love my job. I don't know what else to tell you, Oh yes, I have an above average sense of humor, and love to laugh(even at myself)....
