Can someone please list production numbers? Information such as color, MSRP, etc. per year for each model. Not necessarily how many of one color but, what color was available. We have the acronyms posted but what about other info?

From what i have seen you won't find numbers posted for the individual colors but estimated totals for each model.

There have been many that try and find this info but the factory is very gaurded about the number of bikes and the color produced each year.  I'm sure they know excactly how many of each where done,  how many where press bikes,  how many where demos or show bikes.

I got this for the FXR's back in January.  I just wrote a letter to HD Customer Service requesting the information (quantities by color, anyway).

Does anyone know what happens to the demo / show bikes?  Are they sold to the public?

It depends.  Some are sold.  Some are destroyed.  I know...don't everyone freak out.  There are reasons.  Some are built not to be sold.
The ones sold are sold to dealers in lots of 3-5 bikes.  There may be one CVO, 1 ultra, a Road King and a couple others.  They then bid on the various lots that they think they can move.  I guess the dealers with the higher bar & shield scores get first dibs?

First off welcome to the site we are glad to have you join us (I noticed this is your first post). When you get a chance you should go to this board - New Member Introduction and start a thread to introduce yourself.

In regards to your question. If you got all the paperwork for your bike when you picked it up look for a sheet of paper (card stock, thicker then regular paper) that has at the top "On Line (Send to D.P.). Below that it will have "Assembly Line", "Control" then "Production Schedule". To the right of "Production Schedule" will be a date. I'm believing this is going to be the start date of the build of your bike. Sorry I don't have a scanner but I've taken a picture of mines shown below
