I need to pay more attention.  For 24 bucks that's really not bad at all.  Kind of contrary to Harley's norm to offer a baseline effective functional part for a baseline type of price.  Can completely understand putting that to good use and being completely happy with it for that kind of investment.  Glad to see Harley offering such things.  Likely won't be a trend.  But it's nice to see the more practical range of options on the occasions they do them.

ah...  stylish not really ?
completely happy? eh... but they serve a purpose..i am constrained with three cell phones and a blackberry ( leashes) that i m ust have with me ...
they work for the phones pretty well...my CDs live in the upper and the winshield pouch for various and sundry other goodies...
also, i tend to stick my wallet in one those places as it puts my ass to sleep,

How are most of these lower pouches attached?  Replace the entire snap on flap with the pouches attached to the new flaps, are are they glued on?  I know a leather guy who could make some custom ones for me, so just curious as to the best way to approach attachment.

TC, if I remember right the ones I have have a thin clamshell type piece that goes around the stock cover.  The stock snaps then hold it all on.  After I'd used them a couple times and my hands learned where to push they got easy to use.

Thanks, Don...that's an option I had not thought of, and a much better/simpler one at that.  I will see what my friend can do using that idea.  He does good work...

I have 3 bag set up ( see pix). Only thing just need at least an eight inch high windshield to all corners of bags behind the shield. john
I like that dash pad thing too. I need something like that to cover the scratches I put in it with the Ipod and velcro setup I use now. Should cover it nicely. :2vrolijk_21:

About the only thing I know you could do would be to put a clear piece of plastic film on the inside of the windshield where the bag goes from side to side.  I don't have the 3 pouch, but I believe it comes with a clear self adhesive film for the windshield.

LOL - yes as a matter of fact -- I put it on the tour pack to cover the wear marks where the top hits the bottom - that's another tread (and then covered in black electrical tape to hide).
