I'm usually a day late with things so most of y'all have prolly already solve this problem. I've had my scoot since new and have been searching for ways to stream music from my phone although I admit not exerting much effort. I had tried many different cables with no luck. My Son bought me a CoolStream B/T receiver and BAM!! Plug it into the 30 pin connector and pair.....done. For long trips you may also need to run a charging source for your phone but since I rarely run over 2 hrs, I have not need it. Hope this helps at least one member, if it does the slow head shakes from others will be worth it.

I use the same set up.  I am on my 2nd Coolstream as the battery failed after about 2 years and it can not be replaced.
