Hey Y'all!!! 

I own a 2012 SEUC and recently hooked up my iPhone onto my handlebars so I could use Pandora and Maps. When I plugged cable into Aux on radio everything worked like a charm. Put my helmet on with headset and it sounded good there too. I decided to try making a call with my iPhone and called my Love and she said I sounded good and she was crystal clear. Engine was NOT running when I did this. I called her back after I started my engine and she couldn't make out what I was saying because of some audio interference but she still sounded crystal clear on my end. So, I was wondering if my headset is bad or I need a special cable for Aux connection or my interface on my bike for headsets are bad or finally, our bikes are not capable of talking on phone while engine running? Anyone run across this on their bike and is there a fix? My buddy that rides with me just got blue tooth for his helmet and his 2007 road glide and he don't have headset capability for CB so it would be nice to have a form of communication while on our trips! Thanks in advance for any help!

Listen to Jim, he knows all about that system.

Reason why your Love could hear you without the engine running and not with the engine running, is ...the engine was running and creating so much noise your Love could not hear you through the microphone on the phone.

Even though you are plugged into the AUX on the radio, that is input only, you were still using the mic on the phone. You need the system that Jim has provided a link for, if you want to transmit using the motorcycle system.

Hey John.  You could just get a new Rushmore bike.  Ability to make and receive calls is standard with the Boom Box infotainment system.  Just sayin'.  Always trying to help a brother, lol.

Seriously give the HD Bomm a try.  I know a couple guys who have it and it works great.
