brake line kit for aftermarket rake?
« on: June 02, 2017, 02:37:09 PM »

so, shop did the american suspension 11" rake kit,  now the brakes look like crap hanging there.  he said he has no idea what to do on those...

is there a kit out there with some lines that are a bit longer and maybe a bracket / fitting to clean that up and move it back towards the tree?

The brake lines need to be replaced. The issue is that the aftermarket companies do not make a kit that is for the raked trees. You'll will have to either have something made or put together the parts needed that are off the shelf and make your own lower cable kit. Any "good" shop should be able to do this for your. Parts are readily available from the aftermarket suppliers like Drag Specialties. Also check out Magnum Shielding.

You could get a double banjo for your front master and order a couple longer brake lines and run both lines off the front master
and do away with the tee that's what I did with my inverted front end I didn't like the tee.
