Software updates
« on: June 12, 2017, 08:06:13 PM »

Does anyone know if you have to put the bike in accessory mode in order to update the radio, or can I just turn the Kill switch back on to do the update ? My accessory switch is bad, dealer has it ordered, so I can't use it, I know the directions say to put it in accessory mode, just curious. Thanks. flhman

You can do either, but the kill switch drains the battery faster.

Either way, consider having the bike on a battery tender while executing the software download.
