Ultimate Seat
« on: June 25, 2017, 04:35:38 PM »

Just wondering if anyone is riding on an Ultimate Seat.

Reports thus far say these seats are great value and allow you to ride in comfort all day long.

Thoughts?

Put one on my 2010 CVO Trike with their custom embroidered backrest.  Made in Toronto.  Looked great however ended up getting  AirHawk cushions for both of us as our butts killed us after a few hours of riding.  Seat was like a rock.  Now this was about 5yrs ago so maybe they have improved their padding material since then.  At that time the owner had no issue if I wished to attend the Toronto manufacturing facility.  Never did because of distance and not sure of address.  Communication was good with them.  You may wish more input before laying that amount of $$ out.  They have been in the market for some time now so must be selling enough to keep in business but you never seem to hear their name much when top seating talk takes place.  Dug up an old photo showing seat on the trike at Daytona Bike Week.  Trike was displayed at Hannigan Motorsports who did the conversion.

Thanks very much for your input.

I think they must have changed their cushion, because the one I sat on recently felt pretty darn good!

Although I didn't ride on it for a hour.  Good news is that if I'm not completely satisfied after 14 days I can return it for a full refund.

Just to let you know, the plant is in North York, south off of Steeles Ave. between Weston Rd. & Pine Valley Dr. in case you want to look them up.

Thanks again.
