Welcome to the site Jock.  I don't have an answer to the quality issues other than talking to your dealer.

Thanks for the feedback, I am currently working with them, however it has been a long journey.  Since the service staff is almost ALL NEW and they only delivered two CVOs, it has been a challenge to say the least.

Keepin' the faith and Good Luck to others.

Hey Jock,
you will find because of this web site, we know much more about these bikes than our dealership.

Don't hesitate to copy and print some of the posts from this web site and bring them to the dealer. They may even let you step behind the counter and show them this web site.

Everytime I send in one of those surveys that I get when I pick up my bike I get a call from a service manager and I give him my thoughts on the issues. Those forms go straight through the factory back to the dealership and the dealership has to send the results of the complaint back to the factory.

Even if the your complaint doesn't have anything to do with the service you recieved the survey for.

WE SHOULD ALL SEND IN THE SURVEYS AND IF YOU ARE NOT OFFERED ONE. ASK FOR IT.

Try not to drop the "F" bomb too much in the comments section of the survey.

Thanks for the insight...It should be noted that I am pleased with this bike outside of the issues occuring.

In addition, I can see no benefit in dowing the F bomb...In my experience, you get nothing from it when service and people are involved.

I am keeping the faith and support your position of informing the MotoCo.  In doing so, an impact will be made and results will follow if they expect to continue their progress to date.

Ride Safe,

Jock

I am happy to report that I received a telephone call today and they have approved the warranty work!  Looks like a mid-December date to install...only took 2 months to approve and receive the necessary parts.

At this point, I am thankful for the resoultion.

Enjoy the ride...it was 78
