Geezerglide newest additon BMW R1150 GS Adventure
« on: February 22, 2007, 10:30:12 PM »

Well since posting in the Buying Section for a BMW R1150 GS Adventure. I have found one in Calgary.

It is an 04 R1150 GD Adventure with only 16,000 kms (apprx. 10,500 miles) in excellent shape, it is a unique bike, has all of the goodies, ABS, Bluetooth Electronics for the helmet.

I can even ride it in our weather, am going to bring home within in the next week or so. Now the Geezerglide (Road Glide, not me) will have a new garage mate.

Here is a picture of my play in the dirt/gravel bike. Oh yah now I have to brudh up on my TEUTONIC Attitude, and please don't remind me who won WWII, LOL.

Congrats on the new addition!!  They are strange looking machines, but from eveyone I've talked to, are a blast to ride, and can go anywhere you can hold them up.  In your area of North America, this bike will surely be something you can really enjoy.   :2vrolijk_21:  Don't run off any cliffs up there!!

Strange is probably too light of a word for the looks of bike but enjoy never the less :) Should be quite the conversation piece at the pumps and waterhole.

I have always used horsepower to get front end lift!  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm betting for front end lift that fender is a lot cheaper. :nixweiss:

Stock, these are about 95 - 100 HP, and yes the TWO Front Fenders are a lot less cheper.

Skippy,

Also a lot uglier :o :o :o

Congrats Geezerglide.  Longtime GS owner here and some of my most memorable rides have been delivered by this thing.  There's something about knowing any road is fair game with a bike like the GS.  There are more dirt than paved roads in my Rocky Mountain neighborhood... many I would not want to take the H-D down :nervous:.
