Topline-Hylift 2313SE slow bleed with axle oiling. These lifters have a slow leak down but also have small oiling holes arc-bored inside and outside the lifter housing by EDM that provide a constant supply of pressurized oil directly to the roller bearing and axle.

S&S premiums.  At least you caught it before it was too late.
I just did T-man's 113 kit in my 09 and I'm really enjoying it.  Good luck.

How would you rate these lifters against S&S, say in a stock replacement capacity where longevity is the goal?

I sell both and used to sell US made premium Delphis. No problems with any of them.
S&S Premiums vs the Topline-Hylift.
The Topline-Hylift are better for three reasons but the S&S lifter is not bad.
1. OD diameters run very consistent right at .842 + or -.0001
This is an issue with others and the generous clearance HD bores run at, undersizing is a good way to loose pressure fed to the lifter and top end.
2. The axle oiling is important,  the failures we see are the axle bearings.
3. The tighter lifter plunger tolerance and larger size adds a larger volume of oil cushion under the plunger. This was a feature developed to cull noise.

On a sidenote the Topline-Hylift lifters are half the cost of premiums.

Truth be told there are many good lifters sold by the aftermarket but I personally like these Topline-Hylifts a little better. Feedback has been 100% positive.

Good to know, thank you.  Will add those to my shopping list.

Hopefully I did not derail the thread here.

Good morning,

I have a 2015 CVO RGU, are the lifters still an issue with the 2015?

If they are, any issues with the HD/Extended warranty using the non HD lifters?

There was a post about upgrading the cam that would also help with engine cooling (more fuel). Cant find the post would anyone recommend a cam or post the thread?

I have a stock 110 with TTS tune, and fullsac headpipe and 2" power cores (performance kit for 2015 CVO).

Ride safe!

Perhaps some of the performance vendors can answer your question about the lifters in the '15s.  From anecdotal evidence I've seen and read I think the lifters are a problem area in all the 110 motors.  They sure were in both my '07 and my '12.

Regarding ESP again from what I've seen and read and also from first hand experience with their inspectors I would say 'yes' using any aftermarket part(s) could lead to denial of a claim.

A motor company that's been around since 1903 should be embarrassed by producing an engine that eats lifters after 20k miles.  If anyone should have motorcycle engine building down to a science, it should be HD.  114 years of experience.

I was on the Indian forum earlier today...a guy posted he just turned 70k miles on his 111 and tore into the cam chest and primary for an inspection.  He posted pics - no sign of wear, even on the chain tensioners.  Three years of experience.

+1

At least the Delphi "B" lifters were decent but they switched to an even cheaper one with the "C" version as they increased lifts.  They should have killed the Twin Cam platform much sooner than 2017.

Does anyone running them have high miles on them yet? Will they last 70-80k?

I would do happy back flips if I had a set of lifters last 20,000 miles!  (Mental back flips anyway...  lol...)

Good morning,

I have a 2015 CVO RGU, are the lifters still an issue with the 2015?

Ride safe!

I know two 2015 CVO RGU's that had engines replaced due to failed lifters.  One is a very good friend and member here, who's failed around 35K miles, bike was less then two years old.  Mine failed with 44K miles and my bike was 2 years old.

So yes they are still an issue.  Both bike above were dealer maintained, every required service, very well cared for bikes.

They are and issued due to the High pressure of the Valve springs used on the 110 motor.  Lifter is the part that fails because of the high spring pressure on the 110.
