For being an "active" fan assisted unit they make a good cooler. If you want a top notch and bullet proof cooler that does not add additional load on to your electrical system check out
https://www.harleyoilcoolers.com

A lot more surface area. There are some vids on youtube but they are old.
This company primarily makes small aircraft parts and this unit is made out of extruded aluminum and is very durable.

Either unit will do you will and you really can't go wrong with getting an oil cooler or supplementing the cooler you already have

Hi Guys, to each his own regarding adding an extra oil cooler. However living in Southern Ca. I have made many trips thru the desert to get to my destinations such as Nebraska, Wyoming etc. It is pretty hard not too unless you ride of the coast and are on your way to Canada which would take forever. Two very hot places in the summer. Mesquite Nevada, and St. George Utah especially when for some reason they decide to put down new asphalt when it is already 100 degrees. No issues with the stock cooling on my 09SEUC. In my opinion there are just too many more fittings and too many places that could spring a leak at the most inopportune time when you add one of those units. So just to be clear not against aux coolers, but after the extreme hot riding conditions I have been thru with no issues and don't see why. CAHDBIKER
