Do you really think Road Glides will ever come back as CVO's?  I bet not.  The focus at HD is volume and profit - that is why you get single pass paint, crappy infotainment and boring wheels with CVO models since 2014.  Say goodbye to Dyna....

Have to say, I disagree with everything you said. I like my paint, it is NOT singe pass ( I have no idea what you mean here unless you are calling single stage single pass?) I like my Infotainment system, I like my wheels and my bike was made post 2014.

I am in the line for 2018 CVO RG custom
they should do like the sled guys and on the pre sold units do something special out of the factory like a 117 kit and you get to pick the cams (would it actually cost any extra for HD )
like a snow check model sleds

While I'm not sure where I stand on the "Dyna being out for 2018" discussion, and it doesn't really matter that much to me, as I don't fit on them, I do want to remind folks who are using the color chart to prove that they'll be back.  I suppose technically, this is grounds for a reasonable assumption that the Dynas (3 of them anyway) will be in the 2018 line-up, please recall that the V-Rods were in the 2017 line up.  They were cancelled after 1 more quarter of production.

I am paying attention to the 2018 release as entertainment.  I'm not really in the market for anew bike yet, but I have been struck with the ignorance of impatient lust more than once in the past.  I am hoping for something different on the touring bikes, but there would have to be a significant departure from the current softail and dyna platforms for them to really get my attention.  And by different, I mean an upgrade to the Infotainment and maybe improved ergonomics for larger riders.  How about detachable tour pak as standard equipment?

Like I said, 2018 is a bit early for me to be looking with any intention, but I will be paying attention.

Me too!  And not the ultra, just a SERG.

In the CVO line Ultras in road glides never sold as well as the Custom or X model road glides.

I hope they come out with an Ultra SERG, even if they don't sell as well.

Yes. Whole hole.   The Swiss are neutral, but the country does not have a neutral light, they shift to neutral only by feel.  If they miss they end up in Italy or Germany.

Honda Fonda would be a good name for one of Henry's Japanese offspring.
