Let me be the first Doubting Thomas to say that you were right and I was wrong...I will reserve my judgement, on whether it was a good move or not, until I see the new Street Bob in person!

Do you really think Road Glides will ever come back as CVO's?  I bet not.  The focus at HD is volume and profit - that is why you get single pass paint, crappy infotainment and boring wheels with CVO models since 2014.  Say goodbye to Dyna....

You were right.  After all, over $41,000 and a color best described as Grape Nuts can't really count as seriously coming back.

The new Fat Bob is the best choice in a 114.  If you want a fun cruiser, buy the remaining Dyna Street Bob's before they are gone.  Maybe mid year they will launch a new switchback model transformed into a sport glide and a new v-rod transformed into a destroyer.

So it looks like the Dyna and Softail lines are combined into a new "hybrid" cruiser chassis with a solid-mounted, internally balanced M8.  Looks interesting.

I'm a bit reluctant to go as far as calling it a game changer, but it certainly freshens up the arguably outdated chassis design.

The real game changer is dumping that lifter-eating Twin Cam engine.
