Weighing in at 10k dual axle is sufficient. My other 38' is a triple axle, I did that for more brakes...

What weight is that with the triple axle?  Was the triple axel an option just for more brakes?

At 18,500 lbs. with five slide outs, mine has triple axel.  But I'm getting ready for the disc brake conversion.  The reviews on the forums say they make a huge difference and pulling something this heavy, I need huge stopping power....  https://www.performancetrailerbraking.com/

Never seen that before, great idea. What does that generally run?

They are doing the triple axel at the Grand Design RV Rally for about $3,200 and complete it the same day.  Not sure what it's running for the dual axle.  You can order the kit and do it yourself if you're so inclined.  Several on the Grand Design forum have done their own.
